The Winners: Best Line of Dialogue Contest

August 18, 2009

From his short story, “Changing Seasons,” Ben Woodard has won the second TypeTribe contest with the following line of dialogue:

“It doesn’t matter. Once you know, you know. And I know this film is going to be the one for me. I’ve already begun talking to people. Big people, Art.”

Thanks to all those who entered and promoted their entries.

If you look at the comments section of that post, you can see that Red, Josh, and Becca all gave excellent feedback. My intention was for the commenters to actually rewrite (if necessary) the lines of dialogue, and I could judge from there. But what they did was fine too. All the feedback is great, so again I will turn to random.org for the winner…

Becca!

Congratulations! Ben and Becca, your PayPal payments are on their way. Thanks for supporting the TypeTribe contest, and I encourage you to stay tuned for the next one. If anyone has thoughts about the next contest, feel free to post them in the comments area below.
